October 13, 14, and 15, 2016, Metlakatla First Nation Members voted “YES”, making Metlakatla the 65th Nation to ratify a community Land Code under the Framework Agreement on First Nation Land Management.  With the vote results indisputably reflecting the community’s will to reassume control over their lands and resources, Metlakatla is now poised begin a new era of Land Governance.
