The Lands Advisory Board is pleased and excited to announce that on Friday, September 5th, 2014, Shuswap Indian Band became the 51st signatory community, under the Framework Agreement on First Nation Land Management (Framework Agreement), to ratify it’s community land code. Shuswap Indian Band now joins the growing number of signatory communities who have now re assumed jurisdiction over their land and resources! We congratulate you on all your hard work and in regaining control of your community’s Land Governance under the Framework Agreement.
