This special edition marks the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Framework Agreement on First Nation Land Management, celebrating three decades of First Nations reclaiming authority over their lands and resources. During this time, land code-based governance has helped Nations protect lands and culture, guide appropriate land use, and create opportunities for future generations.
