The First Nations Land Management Resource Centre (Resource Centre) organized an information workshop, November 14-16, 2017, on various topics of interest and provide training on the FNLRS system in an environment where participants can network with Resource Centre staff, advisors, presenters, Federal and Provincial counterparts, and other First Nations.
The Resource Centre, and guest presenters, provided information on the First Nation Land Registration, Matrimonial Real Property laws, updates on the Framework Agreement on First Nation Land Management amendments, Enforcement and Court Systems, on-going collaborative work with the province and Canada, Taxes on fee simple lands, fisheries, utility permits, and Species at Risk.
