Financial Governance – National Workshop
Target Audience:
- Operational & Developmental Signatory First Nations
- Land Governance Directors / Land Managers, Band Managers / CAO’s, Finance Directors / Finance Clerks, Lands Committee Members, Youth
This learning workshop will:
- Provide an overview of the financial sections of the Framework Agreement and operational funding
- Review and discussions on methods of financial accountability under a Land Code
- Explore community-based approaches to financial governance
- Present fiscal opportunities and partnerships available for Framework Agreement signatories
Travel and Accommodation:
- Travel expenses will be provided up to $800.00 per person, PLUS up to 3 nights’ accommodation (room and tax) for THREE (3) participant per signatory First Nation to attend this session
