On March 29th, 2014, Bingwi Neyaashi Anishinaabek (BNA) members cast their ballots in favour of moving forward with land governance under the Framework Agreement on First Nation Land Management.  In a show of overwhelming support for their community’s Land Code, 94% of the members who cast a ballot sent a clear message that land governance authority be returned to BNA from the Department of Aboriginal Affairs.  Congratulations! Please follow this link to view news of the vote in the media!
