Le scrutin de ratification du code foncier de la PNMM arrive \u00e0 point nomm\u00e9 compte tenu du nombre de projets de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique et environnemental actuellement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude par la communaut\u00e9. Le scrutin permet \u00e0 la PNMM de reprendre des mains d\u2019AANC les pouvoirs de gouvernance des terres et des ressources appartenant \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9. La r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration de ces pouvoirs permettra \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 d\u2019assurer de mani\u00e8re durable une meilleure protection environnementale, \u00e9conomique et sociale de ses terres au profit de ses membres. La PNMM compte 546 membres, et ses terres de r\u00e9serve ont une superficie de\u00a0312\u00a0hectares. Il importe de souligner que 83\u00a0% des membres ayant particip\u00e9 au scrutin ont vot\u00e9 en faveur du code foncier de la PNMM, et que 54\u00a0% des \u00e9lecteurs admissibles ont vot\u00e9\u2009!
